I must admit, I feel sorry for Aaron Rogers. With Brett Favre on the fast-track to joining Vince Lombardi in Wisconsin sainthood, this kid doesn’t stand a chance. Green Bay fans are accustomed to a certain lifestyle that I’m not sure Aaron is going to be able to provide. Since 1992, there have been far more winning seasons than losing.
He could be an outstanding quarterback and it won’t matter. He will never see the sun from his spot deep in Brett’s shadow. I hope that he is able to do well next season. If he doesn’t, Packers fans aren’t likely to be forgiving. Unfortunately, even if he does well, I firmly believe we’re destined for “He’s no Brett Favre” which is unfair since there may never be another Brett.
